ABOUT CLAUDIA
PROJECT GALLERY
Since receiving a degree in interior design in 1979, Claudia King Thomas has been making the world more beautiful, one home at a time.

A Professional Member of The American Society of Interior Designers, she enjoys building friendships as well as business relationships during the course of a project.

Claudia is a member and former docent of the Mint Museum of Art, devoted patron of the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, a member of the Symphony Guild of Charlotte, and a past officer of the Opera Guild of Charlotte.

She participates with Habitat for Humanity and Room in the Inn, a program to shelter the homeless, through Myers Park Presbyterian Church.

In addition to the Charlotte/Lake Norman area, Claudia has completed projects for clients in San Francisco, New York, Acapulco, Southern Pines and the North Carolina mountains.

A few of her favorite projects have been located in the growing campuses of luxury retirement villas, such as The Cypress of Charlotte, where Claudia has also designed public spaces including lobbies and formal dining areas.

Claudia avoids a signature look, feeling that each client and each home are unique.  She works with this principle to create a setting in which the owners can feel comfortably at home.  Because of this philosophy, she has designed multiple projects for a number of her clients.  Claudia's work as been published in numerous regional publications and has been displayed in over twenty Carolinas Chapter/ASID showhouses.
